As our new Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator, you will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture, securing regulatory compliance, and supporting our environmental and sustainability ambitions across the site.
In this role, you will provide hands-on support to our EHS management systems, partner with leaders across the organisation, and help drive continuous improvements that protect our people and our planet.
Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator
What You Will Do
- Support implementation of EHS policies and management systems, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Conduct or assist with inspections, risk assessments, audits, and reporting
- Identify risks and hazards, support corrective actions, and take part in incident investigations
- Contribute to continuous improvement and support internal/external audits and certifications
- Coordinate EHS training and communication to strengthen awareness across the site
- Help promote a proactive and positive safety culture
- Support incident reporting, follow-up and preventive actions
- Participate in emergency drills and preparedness activities
- Support waste reduction, recycling, environmental reporting, and sustainability initiatives
What You Bring
Essential Experience & Skills
- 2–5 years’ experience in EHS, quality, or a similar technical role (preferably in manufacturing or industrial environment)
- Knowledge of EHS regulations, risk assessments, incident investigations, and reporting
- Familiarity with management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills; able to influence and collaborate across functions
- Professional proficiency in English
Nice to Have
- Degree or vocational qualification in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or similar
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent
- Experience with sustainability and environmental performance initiatives
- Knowledge of Lean, 8D, FMEA, SPC or continuous improvement tools
