ABOUT THE ROLE 

Are you passionate about Lean Thinking and driving operational excellence? Dafo Vehicle is looking for a Site Lean Deployment Leader to lead the transformation of our site into a high-performing Lean enterprise. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with the Leadership Team to implement our Lean Operating Model (LOM) with discipline and rigor. You’ll coach leaders, build Lean capabilities, and champion a culture of continuous improvement — all while delivering measurable results across safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The role covers both production and supply chain, and this role is new in our organization.

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • Lead the deployment of Dafo Vehicle’s Lean Operating Model across the site 
  • Execute the Site Lean Deployment Plan and ensure all required resources are in place 
  • Coach and mentor the site’s Leadership Team in Lean principles and leadership behaviours 
  • Drive continuous improvement in People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cash, and Cost (PSQDCC) metrics 
  • Foster a culture that aligns with Dafo Vehicle’s values and Lean culture principles 
  • Ensure teams are certified in Lean Thinking at levels appropriate to their roles 
  • Make operational problems visible and facilitate structured problem-solving 
  • Collaborate with peers and stakeholders to ensure success of Lean initiatives 
  • Support compliance with all regulatory and internal requirements 
  • Lead and support special projects as assigned 
  • Facilitate continuous improvement projects to reduce waste, improve flow, and increase operational efficiency. 
  • Lead the deployment of Lean principles across the site (5S, Kaizen, TPM, SMED, value stream mapping, etc.) 
  • Monitor KPIs and use data to drive improvements (e.g., OEE, scrap rate, lead time).

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline 
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant business or manufacturing experience 
  • Solid understanding of Lean Thinking and Lean Leadership 
  • Proven ability to influence and coach senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility 
  • Experience with ERP systems in manufacturing is a plus 
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and strong relationship-building skills 
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • A mindset focused on safety, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
  • Work permit - We will only accept applications from candidates who hold a work permit to work in Sweden

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • The majority of time spent on the own site, Albyberg, South Stockholm, Haninge Municipality
  • Up to 10% for travel to internal and external benchmarking, as well as general business needs
