Inventory & Logistics Specialist
As an Inventory & Logistics Specialist for the EMEA region, you play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and reliable supply chain operations across diverse markets. With a sharp eye for detail and a strong focus on accuracy, you manage inventory flows, coordinate logistics activities, and help maintain optimal stock levels to support both customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Inventory Control & Accuracy
- Own and execute the cycle-counting process across all EMEA warehouses, ensuring adherence to frequency, accuracy and reconciliation targets.
- Apply ABC classification to prioritise counts and controls based on inventory value and movement.
- Maintain high integrity of system data (ERP/WMS) by reconciling variances and identifying root causes.
- Track and report monthly inventory accuracy, stock-adjustments and DIO metrics; escalate systemic issues to the Supply Chain Director – EMEA.
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation and procedural compliance.
Process Standardisation & Continuous Improvement
- Standardise inventory and warehouse control processes across the region, aligning to global standards.
- Lead and participate in PDCA/A3 problem-solving for recurring discrepancies or count failures.
- Implement best practices in labelling, location management and stock traceability to improve visibility and efficiency.
- Collaborate with SIOP and Planning teams to ensure accurate supply-visibility and reliable inputs to the MPS process.
- Logistics Coordination & Warehouse Support.
- Support regional warehouse operations and logistics flows by ensuring materials are correctly received, transacted and stored in line with process standards.
- Partner with site warehouse leads to maintain efficient inbound/outbound operations and support pick-and-pack accuracy.
- Monitor inventory health and coordinate corrective actions to prevent stock outs, overstocks and obsolescence.
Reporting & Data Analytics
- Maintain inventory KPI dashboards and reports for the EMEA Supply Chain organisation.
- Analyse trends in inventory movements, stock discrepancies and slow-moving items to recommend corrective actions.
- Support Finance and Global Supply Chain teams during month-end close, audits and working capital reviews.
- Contribute to data-driven insights that support SIOP, MPS and global inventory governance.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Inventory & Logistics Specialist to support the EMEA warehouse network of United Safety and Survivability Corporation. In this role you will ensure inventory accuracy, control and visibility across multiple sites — driving the execution of cycle counting, standardizing processes, and supporting logistics flows to deliver on working capital and order-fulfilment goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-3 years’ experience in inventory management, warehouse control or logistics operations within a multi-site environment.
- Strong understanding of cycle counting, ABC classification and ERP/WMS systems.
- Proficiency in Excel/BI reporting; experience with SAP, Infor or similar ERP preferred.
- Familiarity with Lean or continuous improvement methodologies (5S, PDCA, root cause-analysis).
- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills across languages and cultures.
- Education in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with dangerous goods handling and export documentation.
- Automotive or industrial manufacturing logistics experience.
