We’re now looking for a Supervisor Operations – Logistics to join our team in Sweden.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Supervisor Operations – Logistics, you will lead a team of 8–12 Warehouse & Logistics Associates (WLAs). You own performance across PSQDCC for inbound, internal material flow, inventory control, and outbound shipping. You will build robust routines, standardize processes, and drive Lean practices that enable flawless supply to production and on-time delivery to customers, aligned with Dafo Vehicle’s PASSION values (People, Attitude, Service, Safety, Innovation, One Company, Nimble).
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing warehouse/logistics team with safety at the core.
- Ensure inbound receiving, put-away, kitting, and material flow to production are timely and accurate.
- Oversee inventory accuracy (cycle counts, root cause/corrective actions) and space utilization/5S.
- Manage outbound: pick, pack, documentation, booking, and OTD to customers and distribution partners.
- Run daily management and Leader Standard Work; maintain clear KPIs (fill rate, pick accuracy, inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock, OTD).
- Drive Lean improvements (layout/flow optimization, waste reduction, standard work, visual management).
- Coordinate closely with Planning, Production, Quality, and Freight partners to protect plan and schedule.
- Manage logistics conversion cost and support budgeting/benchmarking.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Must-Haves
- Proven leadership in warehouse/logistics operations with a safety-first mindset.
- Strong communication in both Swedish and English; collaborative and accountable leadership style.
- Hands-on experience with Lean/CI in logistics (standard work, 5S, visual management, problem-solving).
- Familiarity with WMS/ERP processes (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar), shipping documentation, and carrier booking.
- Structured, data-driven, and comfortable solving problems at the gemba.
Nice-to-Haves
- Education in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience with dangerous goods handling and export documentation.
- Automotive or industrial manufacturing logistics experience.
OTHER INFO
- Travel: Minimal (up to 5%) for business needs and benchmarking.
- Workplace: Primarily on-site at our Stockholm facility.
- Work permit: You must already hold a valid Swedish work permit.
