Now, we’re looking for two Supervisor Operations to join our team in Haninge, Sweden.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Supervisor Operations, you’ll lead a team of 8–12 Manufacturing Production Associates (MPAs) or Warehouse and Logistics Associates (WLAs). You will be responsible for delivering excellence across People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash (PSQDCC). This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll set the standard for operational discipline, foster team development, and drive Lean practices within your area of responsibility.
You’ll work closely with your peers and the Operations Manager to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations while building a culture that reflects Dafo Vehicle’s PASSION values (People, Attitude, Service, Safety, Innovation, One Company, Nimble).
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production and/or warehouse and logistic environment, with a strong safety-first mindset.
- A collaborative leadership style and the ability to inspire and hold others accountable.
- Ability to work effectively across departments and levels within the organization.
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.
- Demonstrated understanding and practical use of Lean tools and continuous improvement.
- Self-motivated and goal-driven, with the ability to solve problems close to the shop floor.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Education in Engineering or a scientific discipline.
- Lean or Six Sigma certification from a recognized provider.
- Previous experience working with a Lean Production System or Operating Model.
- Experience of Automotive Core Tools and IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 / 6.5.
- Experience from the automotive industry.
OTHER INFO
- Travel requirement: Minimal (up to 5%) for business needs and benchmarking.
- Workplace: Primarily on-site at our Stockholm facility.
- Work permit: You must already hold a valid Swedish work permit to be considered for this role.
