Drive Customer Engagement and Commercial Success

The Inside Sales Representative is a commercial position where your main task is to engage with customers via phone and online. Other key responsibilities include preparing and following up on quotations, maintaining essential data in our sales tools such as Salesforce and D365.

You ensure that offers meet the agreed requirements. Thanks to your technical knowledge and advanced commercial skills, you build strong relationships with our customers, field sales staff, and other colleagues.

You stand out due to your strong communication skills and confident demeanour. Your goal-oriented approach and assertiveness enable you to understand and resolve even complex issues in the area of Vehicle fire suppression products in the best interest of the company.

A self-reliant working style and strong negotiation skills, combined with strategic and entrepreneurial thinking, round out your profile. You will improve customer satisfaction through commercial activities in collaboration with field sales and the customer service team.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Consultation & Technical Sales Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients seeking fire suppression solutions for vehicles (e.g., heavy machinery, mining equipment)
  • Provide guidance on system selection based on vehicle type, application, and fire risk level

Quotation & Proposal Management

  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for vehicle fire suppression systems, including components, installation, and service packages
  • Follow up on quotes to convert leads into sales and support the customer decision-making process

CRM & Customer Data Management

  • Maintain up-to-date records in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), including customer profiles, opportunities, and sales activities
  • Monitor sales pipeline, track progress, and ensure timely follow-ups

Product Knowledge & Compliance Awareness

  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of vehicle fire suppression systems, including system components (e.g., detection, suppression agents, control panels)
  • Stay informed about relevant safety standards and certifications (e.g., UNECE R107, AS 5062, FM, UL, NFPA)

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with Business Line Managers, Business Managers, field sales engineers, installation teams, warehouse & logistics and customer service support to provide seamless customer support.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with OEMs, distributors, and service partners
  • Address customer concerns and provide proactive solutions to enhance satisfaction and system uptime

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Track competitor activity and market trends in vehicle fire safety
  • Provide feedback to product and marketing teams to improve offerings and messaging

Key Qualifications

  • Completed commercial or technical training
  • Commercial mindset and sales-oriented
  • Quality-, solution-, and customer-focused
  • Strong team player with excellent organizational skills and time management
  • Solid knowledge of ERP/D365, CRM Salesforce, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • 3–5 years of experience in inside sales is a plus
